- Start with easy duration, then add terrain and intensity separately.
- Use familiar routes with short exits and avoid solo remote riding initially.
- Stop when pain, swelling, coordination or confidence deteriorates.
Rebuild technique
Protective habits and hesitation can alter movement.
- Practise braking, standing, cornering and dismounting on simple ground.
- Consider a qualified coach working alongside clinical guidance.
- Review the crash cause and equipment without blaming the rider.
